Salary & Benefits
The selected candidates will be placed in the Technical & Supervisory Grade-C pay scale.
- Basic Pay: ₹47,330.25 per month
- Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Attendance Bonus, Transport Subsidy, Medical Benefits, and other perks as per the National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA).
The gross monthly salary is significantly higher than the
basic pay once all allowances are added.
Selection Process
SECL has eliminated the personal interview for these posts.
The selection will be conducted in three stages:
1. Computer Based
Test (CBT):
- Objective-type
online exam.
- Total Questions:
100
- Breakdown: 80
questions from the relevant technical trade + 20 questions from General
Awareness / Reasoning.
- Duration: 2
hours.
- Negative marking: No (as per standard CIL practice, though candidates should verify the final notification).
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates from the CBT must produce original certificates (educational, competency, caste, etc.).
3. Medical
Examination: Candidates must be medically fit as per SECL's mining standards.
